But frick, neenish tarts are bloody hard to ice well. Hopefully they taste all right. Photos in dodgy lighting and recipe to follow.

I've also made pumpkin challah and butternut pumpkin and maple mini muffins recently. Can't wait to have the time (and people to feed) in order to perfect them.

I most often refer to myself as v, vee or vicks, although I respond just as quickly to any variant of Victoria. This is what may or may not be a continuing food-travel-artsy-thing blog (I am terrible at updating anything). I am currently living in Madrid, but will soon be going home to Australia, where I will spend my days learning useful things at university and cooking with my mum, among other things. Hopefully.
